The Red Room
This room is our largest guest room and is at the front of the house with views over the village and beyond. Bright and airy this room has plenty of space to spread out. With 2 armchairs away from the king size bed where you can sit back and relax, read or watch the 49″ LED Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and more. Maybe with a coffee from the Nespresso machine or a glass of wine. The art in this room is by local artists Dorien and Nicole Fenwick from their gallery in Warkworth.
The Blue Room
A large double room tastefully accented with blue fabrics. This room is for those who like to indulge themselves with a relaxing soak at the end of the day. There is a king size bedstead and a full bathroom with a big roll top bath and a separate shower. This room has a 40″ LED Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime for you to watch whatever you want. The art in this room is by Ali Elly who is another wonderful North East artist.
The Green Room
Looking out over the garden, the courtyard and countryside beyond, this room is ideal to view the sunrise. With a king size bed and two armchairs to relax in you can enjoy your evening in. Or maybe stretch out after a visit to one of the local restaurants or pubs. There is also a 40″ LED smart TV for you to watch all your favourite films and TV on Netflix, Amazon or the other TV on demand channels.
The Yellow Room
Our twin room looks out to the rear of the house with views over the courtyard and garden. This room has a 32″ LED smart TV. The photos in this room are all by local photographers, Paul Appleby and Elizabeth Taylor and one of our regular guests Ruth Grindrod.
What an amazing place. The bath was fab and the food was great. Will definitely return.
While all our rooms are appointed to the highest standard, everyone always has a preference. Maybe it’s a very large room in which to stretch out after your busy day exploring. Maybe a free standing roll top bath as an extra indulgence at the end of your day. Of course all our double rooms have King Size beds so we think we have something for everyone.
Each room has its own en-suite shower room or bathroom all with soft fresh bath sheets, bathrobes and make up removal cloths. Our complimentary toiletries are by Notes of Northumberland for that extra touch of locally produced luxury.
In your room
Our double rooms all have king size beds. Every room has a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and a full hospitality tray. Each with a selection of teas, other drinks and of course homemade treats. DAB radio alarm clocks and LED Smart TVs. A full size hairdryer, Mini fridges and ironing facilities are also available. There is of course free access to our Mesh WiFi which is a fibre optic connection of 500Mb/s. So you can use all your devices and be connected wherever you are in the house.
(Please note: When using the smart facilities on the televisions please remember to log out of your accounts. Otherwise other guests could order films etc at your expense.)
If you’re not relaxed enough already, there is a sample of local Lindisfarne Mead for you to try in your room. On the landing between the bedrooms is a console table where there is also a chiller to keep your fresh milk overnight and maybe that bottle of wine you brought for later.
We also know that sometimes we forget the occasional “essential” item. So in the drawer in the console table you will find the “Oh I’ve forgotten to bring my…” emergency supplies.
